Shannon has been involved with photography since she picked up her first camera around the age of 6. She started training in Black & White film when she was 16 years old, and began studio work at 17. After graduating from college in Advertising & Communications in 1997, Shannon continued to pursue traditional film photography until 2002 when she received her first digital camera as a gift from her father.By 2006 Shannon had combined her graphic design business and increasingly busy photography business under one name and in January, 2010 Shannon opened her 1,400 sq/ft Boutique studio in the historic Winnipeg Exchange, where Kiss The Girl Photography is now headquartered. In December, 2010. Shannon founded The Just Project, based on a form of photography she coined as 'confidence-photography'. A non profit organization, The Just Project is dedicated to helping people burdened with low self-esteem and anxiety.Shannon is a full time photographer and takes on assignments worldwide.

Tammy is a business-savy woman with incredible people skills, a variety of corporate and finance experience and a heart of gold. The owner of her own Home Staging business, Tammy has worked with various companies to provide bookkeeping and business maintenance, and has also worked as a wardrobe consultant and personal shopper. On the artistic side, Tammy is an avid photographer, artist and mother of 4. She has a knack for design, and is a talented computer artist.In addition to helping Kiss The Girl run our day-to-day business, Tammy is the Managing Director of our non-profit Confidence Division, The Just Project. We are excited and proud to have Tammy as an invaluable part of our team.

Karla is one of our favourite people. And not just because she picks up the stuff we are forever putting down in silly places, or because she is on-site backing up our files as we take them. We can honestly say that although we are totally hooked on having her around for all of those wonderful technical reasons I just mentioned, Karla's fearless attitude and super-positive outlook is what makes her an invaluable part of our team and a fabulous person to have around every day. We are excited to announce that Karla will be taking this year to pursue her own work with a team in Australia running religous workshops for students in Catholic schools. We wish her a fabulous experience abroad full of great adventures and fun, and we will be waiting for her return next Christmas with open arms. Dea has done makeup artistry across Canada for approx. 20 years. She was the Western Canadian Makeup Artist for CHANEL for 14 years and was trained in Paris and Montreal in Skincare, Makeup Application and Current styles. Dea specializes in Wedding & Glamour makeup and has 10 years experience in Commercial makeup for TV and Print Advertising.Dea has done makeup for W Network, CTV, and CBC. She has also been featured in Wedding Bells and Chatelaine. We are excited to be able to count Dea as part of our team.

Lee has been a hair artist for over 10 years, specializing in women and glamour styles. She started her career at Regus hair, where she worked for 3 years before joining Scrunch Hair. Her artistic eye and creative talent have earned her a faithful clientelle and rock-solid reputation. Lee is a licensed stylist and accepts styling assignments across the province and worldwide.We are honored to have her on our team.
